Amirhossein Parnian

Amirhossein Parnian (امیرحسین پرنیان), also listed as Amirhossein Mirkazehi Rigi (میرکازهی ریگی), son of Ebrahim (ابراهیم), was a nineteen-year-old Baloch from Zahedan who was preparing for the university entrance exam (konkur).

On Bloody Friday, 8 Mehr 1401 (30 September 2022), security forces fired live ammunition at worshippers and protesters after Friday prayers at the Great Mosalla and around the Makki Mosque in Zahedan. IHRDC's list of the dead, current to 14 October 2022, records him as no. 13, aged 19, father Ebrahim, shot in the head and heart from behind. The Iran Human Rights Society's Bloody Friday roster lists him as no. 45, Amirhossein Parnian (Mirkazehi Rigi) of Zahedan, aged 19, father's name Ebrahim, and the society's list of 662 people killed in the 1401 protests adds that he was shot from behind in the head and heart. Kampain's alphabetical roster of ninety-three confirmed identities records him as entry 14, shot from behind in the head, and the Political and Civil Prisoners Defense Campaign's list of 97 identified Zahedan dead (10 October 2022) names him as no. 56 under the name Amirhossein Mirkazehi (Rigi), 19, son of Ebrahim. Persian Wikipedia's list of those killed in the 1401 uprising records a live round to the head and heart.

Friends remembered a kind, soft-spoken young man. His mother, a teacher for many years in remote parts of Baluchestan, told Sapid Adam that she had spent thirty years serving other people's children in the hope that goodness would return to her own. "He entered nineteen in Azar and was preparing for the konkur with such love," she said, rejecting the labels of rioter and separatist given to the dead.
