Dates, places, sources, and messages — the same details as the full profile, kept on this page.

Mokhtar Ahmadi (Persian: مختار احمدی), son of Haji Salim, was a nineteen-year-old worker from the Takyeh neighbourhood of Marivan in Kurdistan Province. Hengaw says he supported himself and his family by selling handmade dolls on the city's streets.

He was shot during the early Kurdish wave of the Woman, Life, Freedom uprising that followed the death of Zhina (Mahsa) Amini. Hengaw reported that IRGC forces fired directly on protesters at Marivan's Daraei Square, and the Kurdistan Human Rights Network said anti-riot and Basij forces opened fire on protesters in Marivan, killing at least one, Mokhtar Ahmadi, and injuring at least 15. Sources differ on the date: the Iran Human Rights Society and Persian Wikipedia give 8 Mehr 1401 (30 September 2022) and the NCRI list gives 30 September, while Hana and Hengaw's later list of 134 Kurdish dead place his killing on 9 Mehr (1 October 2022); some anniversary accounts say he was shot late on the night of 8 Mehr. Accounts also differ on whether he died after reaching Fajr Hospital, as one Hengaw report says, or before he could be transferred there, as Hana records.

Hengaw reported that under pressure from security bodies he was buried at about 2 a.m. with fewer than twenty family members present; an earlier Hengaw report names Darsiran cemetery as the burial place. Kurdpa remembered him on the first anniversary, and the Iran Human Rights Society's lists, the NCRI's list of 647 names (no. 162) and the English, German and Persian Wikipedia tables of those killed include him.
