Alireza Amani (علیرضا امانی) was a 23-year-old from Abpakhsh in Dashtestan County, Bushehr Province. Memorial pages and local reports also refer to him as Ali Amani of Abpakhsh.

On Thursday, 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026), during the nationwide protests, he was killed by gunfire from Basij forces in Abpakhsh, according to BBC Persian and Iran International reporting from his memorials.

His fortieth-day ceremony in Bushehr drew a large crowd. Mourners chanted for freedom while his sister asked them to pause so the family could speak, saying she had given a commitment to the authorities. The gathering still filled with poetry and chants such as "Death to the dictator".
