On the night of Friday, 19 Dey 1404 (9 January 2026), during the nationwide protests, he was shot with live ammunition near the Soleimaniyeh petrol station on Pirouzi Street in eastern Tehran. According to a report received by the Amirkabir Newsletter, he died that night in his father's arms. Dadban and other accounts say he was wounded near the petrol station and died the same night at Fajr Hospital. HRANA lists him among its confirmed victims in Tehran.
At his memorial, family and mourners sang the anthem "Ey Iran." On what would have been his twentieth birthday, people gathered again at his grave. He is remembered as a young student from Tehran killed in the January 2026 crackdown.
