Behnam Izadi (Persian: بهنام ایزدی) was a 35-year-old Lor man from Nurabad in Mamasani County, Fars Province, from one of the well-known families of the town. His name also appears, with his father's name Soulat, in the list of the dead published by the government in February 2026. He took part in the protests in Nurabad from their first days.

On 14 Dey 1404 (4 January 2026), as he was driving his own car, Basij forces fired directly at the car and threw tear gas inside it, bringing it to a halt. He was wounded and identified, but managed to get away. Witnesses said that by driving toward the security forces he stopped the arrest of several unarmed protesters and kept others from being blinded by direct fire. When he left to join the protests again, he told his friends: "I am going. Have honor too, don't be afraid, come."

On Thursday, 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026), he was using his Paykan to carry wounded protesters to safety when he was shot at close range in the eye and head. Hengaw verified that he had been shot in two separate incidents and died of his injuries, and HRANA lists him among its confirmed victims. He was killed on the first deadly night in Nurabad, alongside Mohammad Ahmadi and Shahrokh Zar'.

On Thursday, 30 Bahman 1404 (19 February 2026), despite heavy security and internet disruption, a joint fortieth-day memorial for him and other Nurabad victims, including Pouya Norouzi, was held at three cemeteries in the town. Accounts put the crowd at more than 5,000 people.
