Dastagir Gorgij (Persian: دستگیر گرگیج; also spelled Dastgir Gorgij or Gargij) was a Baloch man of about 30 from the Hemmatabad neighborhood of Shirabad in Zahedan, the son of Zaher. He was married and the father of two very young children, one two years old and the other two months old. Like many Baloch residents, he had no birth certificate.

According to the Baloch rights group Haalvsh, on the evening of Friday, 19 Dey 1404 (9 January 2026), during the crackdown on the nationwide protests in Mashhad, he had gone to a gas station and was returning home with a close relative in a Peugeot 405 near the Emamat and Esteghlal intersection, close to his relatives' house. He was sitting in the passenger seat when a bullet fired from behind the car struck the left side of his head. Haalvsh's sources said he had not taken part in any protest gathering. He was taken to Razavi Hospital in Mashhad, where he died of his wounds two days later, on 21 Dey (11 January 2026).

Security bodies demanded 500 million tomans from his family for the release of his body. For eleven days his relatives went repeatedly to security and intelligence offices in Mashhad for a burial permit, and refused an offer from officials to bury him themselves and give the family only the grave number. He was finally buried on Thursday, 2 Bahman 1404 (22 January 2026), at Behesht-e Reza cemetery in Mashhad under heavy security, with no more than ten close relatives present. The family was not allowed to take his body to Zahedan to be buried in his hometown.

Haalvsh identified him as the fifth Baloch citizen confirmed killed in the crackdown of 18 and 19 Dey. The Balochistan Human Rights Group lists him among at least 15 Baloch citizens killed by direct fire in January 2026, HRANA's report The Crimson Winter records Dastgir Gorgij as a confirmed death in Mashhad, and the NCRI list also records him, aged 30, in Mashhad.
