Ermia Fazli (ارمیا فضلی) was a 20-year-old management student from Arak in Markazi Province. His family ran the well-known Shideh pastry shop in the city. Friends remembered him as a young man who loved life and stood with the street protests of Dey 1404.
On the evening of Thursday, 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026), during protests on Malek Street in Arak, security forces shot him in the chest. He was killed by that gunfire. Memorial pages at Names of Iran and Javidnaman, reports by Hengaw, VOA Persian coverage of his fortieth-day ceremony, and the Persian Wikipedia memorial list all identify him among the Arak victims of that night.
His fortieth-day memorial in Arak drew a large crowd. Mourners sang and clapped through grief in a public act of remembrance that local authorities tried to constrain.
