Citizens’ reports to Iran International say that on Thursday, 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026), she was killed by a chest wound from live fire during protests in Fardis, Karaj. Witnesses described shots from a rooftop with a Kalashnikov AK-47.
After her phone went silent, her family searched the same area; another protester brought her body to them. Relatives said her mother held Faezeh in her arms until about 6:00 a.m., when the body was taken for autopsy, and that at the funeral her mother collapsed into a coma, so the ceremony went on without her. The body was returned to the family roughly two days after autopsy.
Hengaw independently verified her killing, reporting a fatal chest shot in the Gohardasht district of Karaj on 8 January and listing her among ten women confirmed dead on 8–9 January. Both accounts describe the same young woman of Alborz, whose last night ended in her mother’s arms and whose name stands in the documented lists of the uprising’s women dead.
