Record & remembrance

Dates, places, sources, and messages — the same details as the full profile, kept on this page.

Hassan Mohammadifar, also known as Keshvari, was a 39-year-old plumber from Khorramabad in Lorestan Province and the father of two daughters, aged 6 and 13. His wife was expecting their third child.

On 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026), during the nationwide protests in Khorramabad, he was shot in the side by security forces and died from heavy bleeding on the way to hospital.

His family, who are of modest means, rejected the authorities' attempt to present him as a Basij member. They were asked for 300 million tomans to release his body, a sum they could not pay. He was buried at 5 in the morning, under security measures, at the far end of Sarab-e Yas cemetery in Khorramabad, with only his parents present.
