Seyyed Majid Hashemi (Persian: سید مجید هاشمی; also listed simply as Majid Hashemi) was a 51-year-old resident of Mobarakeh in Isfahan Province. Local posts place him in the Sararoud neighbourhood of Mobarakeh. Javidnaman and memorial archives record him as 51.
On Saturday, 20 Dey 1404 (10 January 2026), during the nationwide protests, he was killed by direct gunfire from Iranian government forces in Mobarakeh. Hengaw verified him among seven people killed in Mobarakeh that day, including Peyman Barati, Hadi (Mohsen) Ahmadpour, Rostam Mobarakabadi, Hossein Iranpour, Milad Iranpour, and Mehdi Fakhari. A few memorial lists date him to 19 Dey instead; this page keeps 20 Dey with Hengaw.
Local witnesses said he was not registered by the authorities as a Basij member. He is remembered with the other Mobarakeh dead of that weekend.
