Mohammad Hossein Aman Alboghbeish (also rendered Mohammad Alboghbeish / Hussein Aman Albughbeish), son of Jamal, was a 25-year-old Ahwazi Arab from Bandar-e Mahshahr (Mahshahr) in Khuzestan Province. Friends quoted by the Javidan Iran memorial remembered him as a principled, kind and patriotic young man who longed for a free and prosperous Iran.
Karun Human Rights Organization (KHRO) verified that on 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026) he was shot in the heart by security forces during protests in Mahshahr, where it said at least nine people were killed on 18 and 19 Dey. Witness Report likewise records a direct shot to the heart, and Iran International's Javidnaman memorial lists him among those killed in Mahshahr on 18 Dey. Iran International reported that IRGC, Basij and plainclothes agents arriving in vehicles with covered number plates attacked protesters in the city with guns, batons, tear gas and clubs while surveillance drones flew overhead.
KHRO said his body was handed over only through an intermediary after the family signed a written commitment, and that the family was barred from holding any mourning or memorial ceremony. Iran International reported that agents forced the family to bury him before six in the morning. The Iranian government's own published list of January 2026 dead includes him as Mohammad Hossein Aman, son of Jamal.
Most sources give his age as 25; KHRO described him as under 25, and one Witness Report entry under the alias Hossein Salihavi gives 23. Some lists placed him in Kamalshahr, Alborz; verified memorial sources locate the killing in Mahshahr.
