On the evening of Friday, 19 Dey 1404 (9 January 2026), in Sedeh (Khomeynishahr) in Isfahan Province, he was hit by two bullets. His family searched the streets and centers until about 04:00, thinking he had been arrested; on Sunday afternoon they were told he had died. Medical records say he died in hospital a few hours after the shots; his body was returned on Thursday, 25 Dey 1404 (15 January 2026). Mourners at his funeral wore white scarves as a sign of freedom. Hengaw had listed him with Amirhossein Nadafi and Hamid Shahin among Shahinshahr-area dead when identities were confirmed; Javidnaman places him in the Khomeynishahr area.
