Mohammad Mehdi Badri (Persian: محمدمهدی بدری) was a young Kurdish man from Kermanshah (Kermashan). He looked after his sister, who lives with a disability.
On the evening of Thursday, 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026), during the protests in Kermanshah, he was hit by live ammunition fired by government forces. Hengaw and Kurdpa, citing an informed source, report that he was shot on Taq-e Bostan Boulevard. Another memorial account says he was wounded by Revolutionary Guards gunfire in the Shahrak-e Ta'avon area, was taken to hospital, and died there from severe bleeding. Iran International's Javidnaman memorial records the same date and Taq-e Bostan Boulevard, HRANA lists him among its confirmed victims in Kermanshah, and his name appears in the list of the dead published by the government in February 2026.
He was buried on 20 Dey 1404 (10 January 2026) in Bagh-e Ferdows cemetery in Kermanshah.
