Mohsen Arasti was 46 years old and lived in Qazvin.
On 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026), he joined the protests in Qazvin together with members of his family. He set a piece of cardboard alight to ease the tear gas so that people could get away, and was then shot in the head by a sniper in front of his brother and sister. His family was later warned not to post about him on social media and could not hold any memorial ceremonies.
