Dates, places, sources, and messages — the same details as the full profile, kept on this page.
Mojtaba Ghorbani, 33, was a Gilak resident of Rasht in Gilan Province.
On the evening of Thursday, 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026), during large protests in Rasht, state forces shot him dead in the Afkhra neighbourhood. Hengaw reported that his body had not been handed over to his family at the time of its report. Iran Pedia’s Gilan list places the killing in Afkhra, Rasht, and gives his age as 33. The same night Bahram Zahedi, 42, was killed near Lakaan Gate in Rasht.
Memorial pages that gather portraits of the Dey 1404 dead also keep a photograph of him. He is remembered by his name, his age, and the Afkhra street where he was shot.
