Reza Azimzadeh (Persian: رضا عظیم‌زاده) was a Kurdish man from Malekshahi County in Ilam Province. Kurdpa recorded him as unmarried and the son of Jabbar. Memorial accounts describe him as an athlete; ages in public lists disagree, with some giving about 27 and Iran Pedia about 31.

On Saturday, 13 Dey 1404 (3 January 2026), around midday, IRGC forces opened fire with military-grade weapons on protesters in Malekshahi, including shots reported from near the Basij resistance base. Azimzadeh was shot in the head and killed. Hengaw, Kurdpa, and the Kurdistan Human Rights Network named him among those killed that day, together with Mahdi Emami-pour and others; later tallies also list Latif Karimi among the Malekshahi dead, while early reports that Farez Aghamohammadi and Mohammad Moghaddasi ("Bozuneh") had died were later corrected by KHRN for those two.

More than 30 to 40 people were wounded, and many were taken to Imam Khomeini Hospital in Ilam. His funeral was held at Malekshahi cemetery in the Gol Zard area, where mourners chanted against the Islamic Republic. A mourning notice for him and Emami-pour carried the line "For what sin?"
