Azimieh was one of the Karaj neighbourhoods where security forces fired on protesters on those nights, and memorial lists name him together with other Azimieh dead such as Sadreh Hosseini and Ehsan Rajabi. HRANA has confirmed his death in Karaj, Alborz Province, in its record of the winter 2026 killings, and Iran International's Javidnaman memorial keeps a page for him. He is a different person from others with the surname Bayat named among the dead of January 2026.
