Sajedeh Karimi (Persian: ساجده کریمی; also spelled Sajjadeh) was born in 1387 (2008-2009) and was an eleventh-grade student from Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh in Gilan Province. On Thursday, 8 January 2026 (18 Dey 1404), she was killed by gunfire from Islamic Republic forces in her city.
Social posts and Tavaana described her being shot with live ammunition while with her mother, some accounts say near a shrine, and dying before her mother's eyes. Iran International's Javidnaman memorial places her in Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh and records her as 17.
She was seventeen and still in high school, and her name stands with the Gilani students killed in January 2026.
