On the night of Friday, 19 Dey 1404 (9 January 2026), Hengaw Organization for Human Rights verified that she was shot and killed by government forces during demonstrations in Arak. Her body was later buried in her hometown of Shazand. Hengaw named her among women whose identities it confirmed from the 8 to 9 January crackdown, alongside Jamileh Shafiei (66), who was fatally wounded by live ammunition on Hepko Street the same day. Iran International's Javidnaman memorial places her in Arak.
