Ahmad Khosravani (Persian: احمد خسروانی) was a 21-year-old basketball player from Tehran and a student at Sharif University of Technology. He was described as one of Iran's top five basketball players and had been named best player of the Tehran league in 1404. He also played for the Farzan Shemiran 3×3 team and won championships in Tehran's 3×3 competitions. His father, a veteran of the Iran-Iraq war, died of injuries from chemical attacks, and Ahmad grew up without him from the age of nine.

He was born on 19 Ordibehesht 1383 (8 May 2004) and wore the number 91. He was killed by direct gunfire from government forces during the protests in Saadatabad, Tehran; his sister wrote that a green laser sight fell on him before he was shot in the heart. Hengaw verified that he was shot dead on the evening of Thursday, 8 January 2026 (18 Dey 1404); some memorial accounts give Friday, 19 Dey. Hengaw listed him with former footballer Mojtaba Torshiz and football coach Mehdi Lavasani among members of Iran's sports community killed that evening. HRANA lists him among its confirmed victims in Tehran, and his name appears in the list of the dead published by the government in February 2026.

His sister later described searching for his body among many others at Kahrizak, where the family found him on the fourth day, and then waiting in line for hours to move him to Behesht-e Zahra. The family asked to bury him above his father's grave, but were told that a "rioter" could not be buried beside a war veteran. At his funeral, family and friends chanted "This flower that withered became a gift to the homeland." Speaking at a rally in Turin, his sister said: "He had no weapon except his basketball."
