Record & remembrance

Dates, places, sources, and messages — the same details as the full profile, kept on this page.

Amir Teimouri-Rad (also spelled Teymourirad / Timuri) was a 42-year-old employee and father of one from Fardis, Karaj, brother of Omid Teimouri-Rad and uncle of Armin Teymourirad. Relatives described him as a calm, patient man and an exceptional father.

On Friday evening, 9 January 2026 (19 Dey 1404), the family was heading toward an aunt’s house when security forces opened heavy fire on protesters in Fardis. Amir fled into an alley with his wife after being hit by birdshot in the leg; Armin and Omid were struck by live rounds, and Armin’s mother was hit by pellets as she tried to shield them.

Amir then returned, still wounded, to place the still-living Armin in a car for a clinic. On the way, government forces fired on the vehicle: bullets hit Amir in the throat and lower back, and Armin in the head and side. Omid died of a shot to the heart before reaching care. Hengaw and Iran International confirmed that Amir, Omid, and Armin were all killed that night. The brothers’ bodies were buried on 22 Dey 1404 and Armin’s on 23 Dey in an Alborz cemetery.
