Meysam Zarei Bejarkanari (Persian: میثم زارعی بجارکناری) was a 39-year-old Gilak resident of Rasht in Gilan Province.
Hengaw Organization for Human Rights verified that he was killed by direct fire from Iranian government forces during the protests in Rasht. Hengaw's English report dates his death to Thursday, 8 January 2026 (18 Dey 1404), while Iran International's Javidnaman and Iran-pedia's list of the Gilan dead give 19 Dey 1404 (9 January 2026). He was one of at least ten Gilak citizens, including two women, whose killing by live ammunition in Gilan and western Mazandaran in those days was documented by Hengaw and Kolbar News. Among them were fellow Rasht residents Parnia Shad Bejarkanari and Saeed Mirzaei.
