Saeed Mirzaei (Persian: سعید میرزایی; also written Saeid) was a 31-year-old Gilak man from Rasht in Gilan Province.
On Thursday, 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026), during the nationwide protests, he was killed by direct gunfire from government forces in Rasht. Hengaw reported that he and Parnia Shad Bejarkanari, a 23-year-old woman from Rasht, were both shot during the city's protests that day, among ten Gilak civilians killed across Gilan and Mazandaran.
Rasht saw some of the deadliest days of the January 2026 crackdown. Hengaw later described mass killings in the city on 18 and 19 Dey, with large numbers of bodies reported in hospitals and at Bagh-e Rezvan cemetery. HRANA lists Saeed among its confirmed victims in Rasht in the Crimson Winter report, and memorial posts from friends in Rasht shared his name so that he would not be forgotten.
