Alireza Ahmadi Babadi (Persian: علیرضا احمدی بابادی) was a Lor resident of Shahrekord, the capital of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province. A memorial profile gives his age as 38 and says he was unmarried and earned his living as a house painter. Those who knew him remembered him as calm, kind and brave, a man who lived a simple life and, like many others, came out into the streets in the days of the uprising.

On Thursday, 8 January 2026 (18 Dey 1404), during the nationwide protests in Shahrekord, he was among the crowd when government forces opened fire on protesters with military ammunition, and he was killed by a direct shot. The Hengaw Organization for Human Rights verified his identity on 22 January 2026 (2 Bahman 1404), in the same report that confirmed the killings of kickboxing coach Mehdi Iranpour in Kerman, Danial Karshenas in Yazd and Ali Khaledi in Lordegan. Hengaw stated that on 18 and 19 Dey security forces attacked protests with extreme violence and fired military weapons at protesters from close range and in bursts.

Iran International's Javidnaman memorial and independent tallies of the winter 2026 killings keep his name among the dead of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province.
