Omid Fallahpour (امید فلاحپور) was 41 years old and lived in Golshahr, Karaj, in Alborz Province. He and his partner, Sima Mousavi, 37, were a couple living in Karaj.
On the evening of Friday, 9 January 2026 (19 Dey 1404), during the nationwide protests, the couple heard gunfire and calls for help outside and opened the door of their building's parking area to shelter a wounded person. Government forces opened fire, and Omid was struck by live ammunition in the parking lot of his home. Both Omid and Sima were killed that night.
