Dates, places, sources, and messages — the same details as the full profile, kept on this page.

Vahab Musavi (Persian: وهاب موسوی), also recorded as Vahab Ghaedi (قاعدی), was a young man from Azna in Lorestan Province.

On Thursday, 11 Dey 1404 (1 January 2026), in the first days of the nationwide protests, a peaceful gathering formed in Azna's Farmandari (Governorate) Square at about 4 p.m., with mostly economic slogans against high prices and empty tables. According to IranWire's sources, the protest went on until sunset and turned violent after security forces brought in from neighbouring provinces intervened. That evening government forces opened direct fire on the protesters. Hengaw Organization for Human Rights reported the same night that Vahab Musavi, Shayan Asadollahi and 15-year-old Mostafa Fallahi had been killed by direct fire and that 17 other protesters had been wounded. He was buried in Azna.

State media, including the Fars news agency, claimed that protesters had tried to disarm security forces. Reports differ on his age: Iran Pedia records his birth in 1374 (1995) and his age as 30, the Simaye Azadi weekly roundup gave 26, and IranWire described him as under twenty. HRANA's report The Crimson Winter lists Vahab Qaedi of Azna as a confirmed death.
