Alireza Rahimi (علیرضا رحیمی) was a 26-year-old resident of Tehran. Iran International's Javidnaman memorial and detailed reporting place his killing on the evening of 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026) at the Third Square of Tehranpars, where he was shot from a rooftop with live ammunition in the back of the head.
Witnesses told Iran International and Iran Human Rights that he fell into his uncle's arms and died about forty-five minutes after reaching a nearby hospital. Because the gunshot destroyed much of his face, relatives later identified him at Behesht Zahra in part by eye color. He had a twin brother named Amirreza. Hengaw Organization for Human Rights also verified his identity among Tehran dead of that protest wave.
