Amirhossein Sohrabi (Persian: امیرحسین سهرابی) was a 21-year-old resident of Tehran who had worked at Tehran's Grand Bazaar since the age of 18. His name also appears, with his father's name Mousa, in the list of the dead published by the government in February 2026.
He was shot by government forces during the protests near his workplace in the bazaar area. Hengaw verified his killing and recorded the date as Sunday, 21 Dey 1404 (11 January 2026), while Iran International reported that he was killed on 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026) in the protests at the Tehran Bazaar. HRANA lists him among its confirmed victims in Tehran.
At his fortieth-day memorial, his mother stood at his grave and said: "I am proud that I gave birth to a lion of a son. Hey Basiji, look, listen: my son was killed for Iran. He gave his life for Iran. I am glad to have had such a son, and I am proud of him." Video of her words was published by Iran International. He is remembered among the young people killed in Tehran in those days, including Alireza Rahimi and Mani Safarpour.
