Amirali Heidari Jafarabadi was a 17-year-old Kurdish boy from Kermanshah. Hengaw Organization for Human Rights verified that on the evening of Thursday, 8 January 2026, he was killed by direct gunfire from Iranian government forces on Kashani Street in the Elahiyeh neighborhood of Kermanshah.

A source close to the family told Hengaw a Kalashnikov round struck him near the heart. Authorities released the body only after payment of one billion tomans. During burial at Tuh-Lali village cemetery, at least one mourner who chanted protest slogans was violently arrested. Hengaw reported that the official forensic death certificate omitted gunshot wounds and falsely listed the cause as a fall from height.
