Faezeh Hossein Nezhad

Faezeh Hossein Nezhad, a 23-year-old medical student and resident of Mashhad, was killed during the nationwide protests in Mashhad. She was directly shot on the evening of Friday, 19 Dey 1404 (January 9, 2026).

According to reports, after being struck by a bullet, security forces at the scene attacked her with batons. Despite suffering severe injuries, Faezeh was transferred alive to a medical clinic but later died due to the severity of her bleeding. After her death, her body was not immediately handed over to the family, and only after extensive follow-up were they allowed a brief viewing. It has also been reported that the burial process would take place without the presence of her family.
