Ayeneh Rooz and memorial posts say that evening she stopped to help a wounded young man, opened her door to bring him inside, and was shot by security forces on her way. HRANA's "Crimson Winter" register lists her as a confirmed victim (sometimes under the Lali Ashnapasand spelling). WNCRI and IranMassacre keep Bandar Abbas as the place of death.
