Omid Teimouri-Rad (also spelled Teymourirad or Timuri Rad) was a 47-year-old electrician, father of Armin Teymourirad, 19, and brother of Amir Teimouri-Rad, 42. Relatives described him as hardworking and devoted to his family. Some memorial posts say Omid and Armin lived in Tehran's Fallah neighbourhood and had gone to Amir's home in Fardis for a family gathering; Hengaw and Ettelaat.net place the family's life and the killing in Fardis, Karaj.

Hengaw Organization for Human Rights verified that on the evening of Friday, 9 January 2026 (19 Dey 1404), he was killed by direct gunfire from Iranian government forces during protests in Fardis, together with Amir and Armin. Melika Teimouri-Rad, a cousin, told Hengaw that all three were hit by live rounds at the same time and that Omid's wife, Armin's mother, was also struck and seriously wounded. Ettelaat.net's family account says the group was walking toward an aunt's house when security forces opened heavy fire; Omid was hit in the heart and died as he was being taken to a clinic, while his wife was wounded by pellets as she tried to shield him and their son. Some earlier social-media posts gathered by IranMassacre give 18 Dey instead of 19 Dey; Hengaw, Amirkabir Newsletter and the fortieth-day memorials follow 19 Dey.

According to family accounts, Omid's and Amir's bodies were buried on 22 Dey and Armin's on 23 Dey in a cemetery in Alborz Province, after pressure and threats. The Iranian government's own published list of January 2026 dead includes him with his father's name, Gholam Reza (row 1033); the same list names Armin as son of Omid (row 2100) and Amir as son of Gholam Reza (row 2420). HRANA's Crimson Winter tally lists the death as confirmed.
