Shahrouz Mehrabi (Persian: شهروز مهرابی; also written Mehrabi or Mohrabi, شهروز محرابی) was a 36-year-old Lor originally from Borujerd in Lorestan Province. Hengaw Organization for Human Rights reported that he had recently married and had just been admitted to a university undergraduate program. Memorial posts shared at his family's request and compiled by the Iran Massacre documentation project describe him as an electrical engineer who worked at a company, kind and full of plans, who was looking forward to becoming a father.
He was killed on Thursday, 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026), by live ammunition that struck him in the abdomen. Those family-sourced posts say he was shot at around 9:30 pm, on the night of his wife's birthday. Sources differ on the place: Hengaw and Iran International's Javidnaman record Tehran, a Witness Report entry names Shahriar, and HRANA's Crimson Winter list and later memorial posts give Saveh in Markazi Province, where he lived. This memorial keeps Tehran as first verified by Hengaw.
He was buried in Borujerd on 28 Dey 1404 (18 January 2026). Iran International later aired video of a birthday ceremony held beside his grave in Borujerd, where his wife released a dove in his memory.
Hengaw confirmed his identity together with Meysam Khazaei, who was killed the same day, and with others named in the same update including Majid Jalilian and Yashar Soltanirad.
